Moscow 29.03.201408.09.2019 Michael Just some occasional pictures. I’ll add new ones when there is anything interesting 🙂 A monument to a guard, Nikol’skaia Street It’s sometimes convenient to take a picture through a hole in a fence 😉 Cathedral of the Sign in Zaryadye, 1679–84. The picture was made through a hole in a fence from the side of the former Rossiya Hotel; you can see its remains nearby 😉 The place of the demolished Rossiya Hotel …and a covered gallery around it. Looks like a fortress 😉 One more view through a hole in a fence—St. Anna’s Church at the Corner (1510s), in Zaryadye It’s near Bolshoy Spasogolinischevsky Lane. Looks like the Western Wall in Jerusalem, and the Moscow Choral Synagogue is just behind me 😉 The question means ‘What for?’ 😉 An old, mossy Zaporozhets. It was the cheapest and the worst of Soviet cars, so that people sometimes said, ‘I’ll never have enough money for a car, but maybe I’ll be able to buy a Zaporozhets’ 😉 It’s not produced any more, but I saw a functioning one already after I had taken this picture. How do you think, what plants are those? You are right, it’s a fountain 😉 ‘Cars of Moscow metro’, a poster in a metro station. One more poster in a metro station 😉 A question of all questions: ‘WHAT FOR?’ 😉 ‘A Centre of Aviation Medicine’. I don’t know what it could mean 😉 ‘The Post of Russia’. A double eagle under a double lamp 😉
